This program follows the mandated United States Tennis Association Junior Pathway which uses age/skill appropriate equipment, lower pressure orange dot balls and 60’ courts so that young kids can learn and play the game quickly and develop professional style skills. Curriculum is designed so that kids will learn and practice all stroke fundamentals, court positioning, develop a serve, rally and begin point play. More advanced players will learn more advanced stroke technique, spin, combining shots together with purpose, serve with direction and spin, approaching the net to use volleys, overheads and more advanced point play...all while using orange dot balls and covering a larger court. Children will be separated into groups and curriculum will be adjusted according to ability and age. Max 6 per court with general 4:1 student/instructor average ratio.
