Three's Program (Ages 3)

  This program is a fun introduction to tennis for our youngest players.  Children will participate in a variety of skill building activities including basic athletic skills (running, jumping) , to more advanced athletic skills (throwing, bouncing, catching) tennis stroke technique and rally basics all in a fun environment. Kids will use foam or red balls, 17 or 19 inch rackets and mini courts for size proportionate play.  Each first time student will be given a brand new racket -- theirs to keep -- to begin the new session! Mon 3- 3:30, 3:30- 4 pm;  Tues 3- 3:30 pm; Wed 3- 3:30, 3:30- 4 pm; Sun 10- 10:30, 10:30-11 am

Red Ball 1 (Ages 4 & 5) & Red Ball 2 (Ages 6 & 7)

Red Ball 1 & 2 follow the mandated United States Tennis Association system which uses age/skill appropriate equipment, lower pressure red dot balls and 36’ courts so that young kids can learn and play the game quickly, and set the stage for future success. Curriculum is designed so that children will learn and practice all athletic and tennis fundamentals, court positioning, develop a serve, rally and begin point play. Children will be separated into groups and curriculum will be adjusted according to ability and age. Max 4 per group with general 4:1 student/instructor average ratio. Mon 3 pm,  Weds 3 pm, Fri 2, 2:30, 3 or 3:30 pm; Sun 10 am; 11 am; 12 pm

Orange Ball (Ages 8 & 9)

This program follows the mandated United States Tennis Association Junior Pathway which uses age/skill appropriate equipment, lower pressure orange dot balls and 60’ courts so that young kids can learn and play the game quickly and develop professional style skills. Curriculum is designed so that kids will learn and practice all stroke fundamentals, court positioning, develop a serve, rally and begin point play. More advanced players will learn more advanced stroke technique,  spin, combining shots together with purpose, serve with  direction and spin, approaching the net to use volleys, overheads and more advanced point play...all while using  orange dot balls and covering a larger court. Children will be separated into groups and curriculum will be adjusted according to ability and age. Max 6 per court with general 4:1 student/instructor average ratio.   APPLICANTS MUST BE 8 YEARS OLD AT THE TIME OF PROGRAM START. Mon 4 pm, Tues 3:30, Weds 4, Thurs 4:30, Fri 4 or  4:30; Sun 10 am or 12 pm

Green Ball (Ages 10 & 11)

This program follows the mandated United States Tennis Association Junior Pathway and will be conducted on 78’ (full) courts with lower pressure green dot balls. Curriculum will vary based on experience and ability, with the goal to develop or refine technique and provide players with the tools to meet their goals.  Groupings will be created with consideration of playing ability and age and players will utilize faster green dot balls. Emphasis will be placed on skills application in live ball (point play) situations. Children will be separated into groups and curriculum will be adjusted according to ability and age. Max 6 per court with general 4:1 student/instructor average ratio.    APPLICANTS MUST BE AT LEAST 10 YEARS OLD AT THE TIME OF PROGRAM START. Mon 5 pm, Tues 4:30, Weds 5 pm,  Thurs 4:30 & Fri 4,  4:30 or 5 pm; Sun 12 pm or 1 pm

Yellow Ball (Ages 12 and up)

This program follows the mandated United States Tennis Association Junior Pathway and will be conducted on 78’ (full) courts with full pressure yellow balls. Curriculum will vary based on experience and ability, with the goal to develop or refine technique and provide players with the tools to meet their goals.  Emphasis will be placed on skills application in live ball (point play) situations. Children will be separated into groups and curriculum will be adjusted according to ability and age. Max 6 per court with general 4:1 student/instructor average ratio. APPLICANTS MUST BE AT LEAST 12 YEARS OLD AT THE TIME OF PROGRAM START. Mon & Weds, 6 pm; Tues 4:30 pm, Fri 5:30- 7 or 6-7 pm, Sunday 1 pm

High Performance

This program is for kids at a higher skill level who are preparing for competition using full pressure yellow balls.  Acceptance is subject to approval by the Junior Directors.  Curriculum includes advanced technical and tactical skills, and is for goal oriented competitive players. THIS PROGRAM IS FOR SELF-MOTIVATED PLAYERS WHO WANT TO WORK HARD AND IMPROVE. Tuesday & Thursday 5:30-7pm

Our Junior Programs are designed

to provide quality instruction and a wide variety of options for all ages and levels.  We feature low/student teacher ratios and carefully selected coaches.  All of our programs take place on our championship quality indoor tennis courts...not outdoors, in a basement or school gym.
